Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Acton, California
Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist through a rewarding contract position. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current or eligible California SLP licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) encouraged to apply
- Background in pediatric or school-based settings
- Experience with teletherapy delivery methods is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusivity and growth in diverse student populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) aligned with educational goals
- Provide engaging direct therapy sessions, either onsite or remotely depending on assignment needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support student progress
- Maintain timely and thorough records in line with school and regulatory requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based approaches for student support
