Pediatric Autism Specialist | Brandon, Mississippi

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required
• Current LMFT credential preferred
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with adults diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, including individuals without intellectual disabilities
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health, executive functioning, sensory, and socialization challenges linked to ASD
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability to changing student needs and school environments

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group sessions that focus on enhancing students’ social, academic, and emotional skills
• Develop tailored strategies and interventions for students with ASD, from initial assessment through ongoing support
• Collaborate with educators, families, and allied professionals to facilitate student progress and ensure integrated care
• Participate in school meetings, contribute to IEPs, and provide actionable recommendations for accommodations as needed
• Deliver training and guidance for staff regarding best practices in autism support
• Document interventions and maintain clear, timely records in compliance with school and agency protocols
