Soliant Health is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) who is interested in working in a school setting. This position is located close to Chesapeake City, MD. In this role, the SLPA will be working alongside an SLP to provide services for school age students ranging from grades K-12.
Job Description & Requirements:
- BA in Speech Communications or AAS degree from SLPA program
- SLPA certification for Maryland
- Full-Time (Monday - Friday)
- Caseload: K-12
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication w/ staff, students/parents during high-stress and crisis situations.
- Ability to travel between buildings during the day may be required – work may take place in multiple school sites.
- Providing direct and indirect services in accordance with a student’s IEP.
- Onsite only, virtual not an option.
- Guaranteed hours for direct and indirect services
