Description:
Join our dynamic team as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in Garden Grove, CA. This position is for onsite work, covering the spectrum from Pre-K to 12th grade students. You'll be involved in the full educational cycle, providing valuable support in speech and language therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Implementing speech and language therapy plans as directed by the supervising speech-language pathologist.
- Collaborating with teachers and other school professionals to support student progress.
- Documenting student performance and maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting in the development of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.
Requirements:
- Valid California SLPA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per week, following the school calendar to finish out the academic year.
