Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed in Merced, CA
Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team in Merced, CA This role provides an excellent opportunity to apply your skills in a school setting, offering speech therapy services to students with diverse speech and language needs. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about facilitating communication improvements and supporting academic success through effective speech therapy interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to specific needs.
- Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and other healthcare professionals to promote an integrated approach to student therapy.
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert insight and recommendations for student care.
- Maintain thorough records of student progress and therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or a closely related field.
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in California.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric clients is highly beneficial.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively engaging with students and colleagues.
