Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a part-time basis for the 2024-2025 academic year. As an SLP in our school, you will work with a caseload of 20 students, providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to support their communication and language needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough assessments to identify students' speech and language disorders.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
- Providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' overall academic success.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and treatment interventions.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as an SLP in Illinois.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
