Job Description: Soliant Health is currently seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team in Westminster, Maryland. As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed Speech Language Pathologists to provide direct therapy services to patients with speech, language, and communication disorders. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of individuals' communication skills and quality of life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting screenings and assessments to identify speech and language disorders
- Implement therapy plans developed by licensed Speech Language Pathologists
- Provide direct therapy services to individuals with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistant program or related field
- Certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Maryland
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred
