Requirements:
- Valid Occupational Therapist License in California
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
State-Specific Requirements:
- California Occupational Therapist License
- California Department of Education Certification
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ strengths and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate students’ progress
- Provide therapy services in accordance with IEP goals and objectives
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided
