We believe in the power of communication and are seeking a dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist to join us in supporting our students' speech and language development.
Position Overview: As a School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating communication disorders among our student population. You will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each student's unique needs and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement effective therapy plans to address students' communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in small groups.
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- New Jersey state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children and knowledge of educational systems.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
