Are you an experienced and passionate Speech Language Pathologist looking for a rewarding opportunity near Elizabeth City County, NC? Blazer Jobs, in collaboration with local schools, is excited to offer a dynamic role in the field of special education.
Job Description:
- Complete Evaluations in the areas of Speech, Language, and Hearing
- Gather information through interviews, observations, and other meaningful practices to solicit relevant information regarding Student’s overall Speech/Language functioning.
- Progress monitoring, consultation and collaboration with school personnel and parents
- Diagnose and assess students using appropriate tests
- Identify, screen, evaluate, and prepare reports
- Provide therapy to remediate and reduce impairments that interfere with Student’s educational program.
- Develop and implement an IEP for pupils with speech and language deficits that meet state criteria.
- Conference and consult with parents, school site personnel and other support staff.
- Provide student supervision which ensures student safety consistent with district and school expectations.
Requirements:
- Master’s in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Certified through ASHA / CCC’s completed
- Must hold have active license through State Board of North Carolina
