Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CFY)
Location: 20 minutes South of New Orleans, LA
Duration: January 2024 to End of School Year
Position Type: Part-time or Full-time (35 hours/week for full-time)
Caseload: Mostly PreK to Upper Elementary Ages
Caseload Goal: 35-40 for all SLPs (currently around 55-60)
We are currently seeking 5-10 Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC/CFY) to join our school-based team. The positions are available from January 2024 to the end of the school year. The school is conveniently located 20 minutes South of New Orleans, LA.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy services to students
- Collaborate with other members of the educational team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA certification (CCC) or CFY
- Louisiana state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Experience with PreK to Upper Elementary Ages
Working Conditions:
- Part-time or full-time options available
- Caseloads currently around 55-60, with a goal to lower to 35-40 for all SLPs
