Position Details:
- Location: New Orleans, LA
- Duration: 2024-2025 school year
- Caseload: K-12
- Flexible hours (full or part-time)
- Conduct IEP Meetings
- Deliver Direct Therapy Services
Requirements:
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certification
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders in students
- Create individualized treatment plans aligned with assessment findings and student objectives
- Educate and engage family members and caregivers in therapy process, equipping them with communication support strategies
