Full-Time Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Waynesboro, PA
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct virtual speech and language therapy services to students with various communication disorders.
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication skills within the virtual learning environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and student outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for developing goals and objectives.
- Work closely with other members of the special education team to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Pennsylvania.
- Teaching certificate in addition to SLP license.
- Previous experience working as an SLP in a school setting is preferred.
- Experience with virtual therapy platforms and technology is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment and collaborate with team members remotely.
