Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist/Assistant (SLP/SLPA) Needed in Romeoville, IL
Job Overview: We are excited to offer a full-time opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant in Romeoville, IL. This position will focus on delivering high-quality speech therapy services to students within a supportive school environment, fostering communication and learning.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments.
- Implement treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of an SLP, if applying as an SLPA.
- Collaborate with educational teams to integrate speech therapy with student learning experiences.
- Document therapy sessions and track progress towards student goals.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and provide insights based on professional expertise.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology for SLPs; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field for SLPAs.
- Valid Illinois license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for licensure as an SLPA.
- Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to engage students and work effectively with diverse populations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
