Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist Position in Salyersville, KY
Job Description: Exciting opportunity for a Speech Language Pathologist to join our school team in Salyersville, KY. This full-time position is ideal for a dedicated SLP who is passionate about working with children and helping them achieve their communication and educational goals in a supportive setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school-based environment.
- Develop and manage individualized education programs (IEP) for students, ensuring tailored support.
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, parents, and school administrators to enhance student outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of student progress and adapt therapy plans accordingly.
- Engage with the school community to promote awareness and understanding of speech and language challenges.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field.
- Current SLP license in Kentucky.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
