Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time contract position in Hardinsburg, KY. This school-based role requires adherence to all local and state regulations, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in working with special education students and their families.
Job Duties:
- Conducting speech, language, and communication assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Providing therapy to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Monitoring and documenting student progress
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on goals and accommodations
- Keeping up-to-date with best practices and research in the field
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related fields
- State licensure and certification
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
