Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team on a full-time basis, serving schools in the Ecorse, MI area. We are seeking dedicated professionals who meet all local and state requirements for this role. Please refer to the detailed requirements listed below to ensure eligibility.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and assessment tools commonly used in educational settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of students' speech and language abilities.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic success.
- Providing direct therapy services in both individual and group settings.
- Monitoring students' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided.
