Direct Hire - Speech Language Pathologist for the 2024-2025 School Year
ProCare Therapy is partnered with a school district that is located in Buena Park, CA that is looking to direct hire a speech language pathologist to join their team for the 2024-2025 school year! This position is directly hired by the school district. Salary for this position is based on district pay scale
Salary: $90,000
Responsibilities:
- Implement, monitor, and evaluate Individual Education Plan (IEP) of each assigned student
- Prepare appropriate lesson plans and objectives based upon individual student's IEP goals and grade level expectations
- Organize intervention program and services for students in a multi-tier system of support
- Coordinate student's inclusion into general education classes and activities as an inclusion facilitator/specialist
- Performs educational assessments in accordance with CA state standards, district policy, school programs and IEP goals
- Implement and monitor behavior support plans as required by students for educational success
- Prepare required student forms and maintains accurate student academic records, attendance records, and cumulative student progress and achievement records and reports
- Track progress towards IEP goals and inform parents, teachers, and principal concerning progress toward goals
Requirements:
- Active California SLP license
- Master's in communication disorders
- ASHA CCC
- Previous school experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Interview Process:
- 10 –15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 Minute virtual interview directly with the school district
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
