Job Opportunity: School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (Contract)
Location: Skiatook, Oklahoma
Blazer Jobs is actively seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist for a full-time contract position in Skiatook, Oklahoma, for the upcoming school year. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals, including articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to improve communication abilities and support academic success.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to integrate speech and language strategies into the classroom and home environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions.
- Stay informed about best practices and evidence-based interventions in the field of speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Oklahoma state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
