Job Description: Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 24-25 school year in Elgin, IL. This is a full-time position, contracted through Soliant Education, to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in need. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess strong communication skills, and have a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and evaluation of students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and achievement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in IEP meetings and other team meetings as needed.
- Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- Current Illinois state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
