ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in Magnolia, TX. This full-time position offers competitive hourly pay, benefits, and the opportunity to support elementary students in their communication development.
Responsibilities:
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy services to elementary students.
- Implement therapy plans and activities designed to improve students' speech and language skills.
- Conduct individual or small group therapy sessions as directed by the SLP.
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to support student progress and achievement.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Texas state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Details:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, for the duration of the 2024-2025 school year (August 8th, 2024, to May 23rd, 2025).
