About the Role:
As a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA), you'll work alongside licensed SLPs to provide essential support in delivering speech therapy services to individuals with communication disorders. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of clients and contribute to their progress and development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
- Texas SLPA license or eligibility for licensure
- Experience working with children and/or adults with speech and language disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the implementation of speech therapy treatment plans under the supervision of licensed SLPs
- Conducting therapy sessions with individuals or small groups
- Providing support in assessment, documentation, and progress monitoring
- Collaborating with SLPs, teachers, and families to ensure effective communication and continuity of care
Compensation:
