ProCare Therapy is currently interviewing for a School Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position in Apple Valley, CA, for the 2024-2025 school year. This is a great opportunity to work with students and support the speech-language therapy program in a school setting.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting speech and language assessments under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Implement individualized therapy plans and interventions designed by the supervising SLP.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field.
- Valid SLPA license in California or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience working with students in an educational or clinical setting preferred.
