In addition, Texas is home to the Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Stars, Houston Rockets, Houston Astros, Houston Comets, San Antonio Spurs and the Texas Rangers.

Texas ties with Nebraska as having the third Lowest Cost of Living and has the eighth lowest taxes nationally.
