Remote Speech Language Pathologist: Independent Contractor (1099)
ProCare Therapy is looking to hire a fully remote Speech Language Pathologist for the 20242-2025 school year with the opportunity to renew for the following school year. The selected candidate will be hired on as an independent contractor to join our network of telehealth contractors providing services to school district across the country.
The selected independent contractor must have an active SLP license in Wisconsin and an active SLP license in the state you are currently living in if applying out of state.
Qualifications:
- Active Wisconsin SLP license
- 2+ years of virtual experience required
- ASHA CCC
- At least 2 years of school experience
- Master's degree in Speech Disorders
- Home computer with high speed internet for the virtual platform
- Tech savvy (we do provide training for virtual platform)
- Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and video conferencing tools
Interview Process:
- 10 –15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 Minute virtual interview directly with the school district
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
Caseload:
- Full time: 37.5 hours guaranteed
- Monday - Friday
- Direct and indirect services
- K-12th grade caseload
- Ages: 3-22 years old
- 30 students on caseload
- Therapy, evaluations, meetings, etc.
- Onsite paraprofessional to assist virtual SLP with sessions
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students, outlining goals and strategies.
- Provide engaging and effective virtual speech and language therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and success.
- Continuously monitor and document students' progress and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Stay current with the latest research, technology, and therapy techniques in the field.
- Maintain compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
