Responsibilities:
- Provide virtual speech therapy services to students in Illinois school districts, focusing on bilingual (Spanish/English) communication needs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's linguistic and cultural background.
- Deliver engaging and effective therapy sessions using evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other team members to support student progress and achievement.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric speech therapy.
- Proficient in using teletherapy platforms and technology.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively in a virtual setting.
