Job Title: Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - New Mexico
Location: Virtual/Remote (District in New Mexico)
Job Type: Full-time, Contract
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to identify students' speech and language needs
- Develop individualized therapy plans based on assessment results
- Deliver virtual speech therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed
- Provide guidance and support for speech and language strategies
- Participate in virtual team meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development activities
- Stay updated on best practices, research, and technology in speech-language therapy
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid New Mexico state licensure or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an SLP
- Experience with school-aged children and IEP process
- Proficient in telepractice platforms and technology tools
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
