Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Rhode Island (Remote)
Job Type: Fulltime, Flexible Contract - Work From Home
Pay: $45/Hour
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our network. As a Virtual School SLP, you will be responsible for providing speech and language therapy services to students enrolled in our virtual school program across Rhode Island. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home while making a meaningful impact on the lives of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language needs.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to students using evidence-based practices and innovative technology tools.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and communication goals.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Participate in virtual team meetings, professional development activities, and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Rhode Island.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a virtual setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using virtual therapy platforms and other technology tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based speech-language therapy services.
