Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Arizona, Remote
Job Type: Flexible contract - work from home
Pay: $45/Hour
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our virtual school team in Arizona. As a Virtual School SLP, you will provide remote speech and language services to students enrolled in our virtual school programs. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other members of the virtual school team to support students in achieving their communication and academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities using virtual assessment tools and techniques.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address students' speech and language needs in alignment with state and federal regulations.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students through virtual platforms, utilizing evidence-based interventions and techniques.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention plans as needed to ensure continuous improvement and attainment of goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' academic and social success through effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, including session notes, progress reports, and other required paperwork.
- Participate in virtual team meetings, professional development opportunities, and continuing education to enhance your skills and stay current with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Arizona state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a virtual or teletherapy setting.
- Proficiency in using virtual platforms for remote service delivery.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively in a remote environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based speech and language services to students.
