- 35 Students: Majority receiving speech/language as a related service

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year, with a strong likelihood of extension for the 2024-2025 academic year. This contract position offers competitive pay, guaranteed hours, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to a caseload of 51 students across two campuses.
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals.
- Deliver virtual therapy sessions using appropriate technology and tools.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active state licensure in Louisiana.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in virtual settings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
