Virtual SLP Opening in Texas
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School-Based Virtual Speech Language Pathologist to join our network. As a Virtual Speech Language Pathologist, you will work remotely and provide evaluations, assessments, and treatment to students with speech and language disorders in a school-based setting.
Requirements:
-Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology
-Active state license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and state you reside in
-At least two years experience working in a school-based setting as a SLP
-Ability to work independently in a remote setting
-Ability to pass a zoom tech screening
Responsibilities:
-Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy to students in a virtual school-based setting
-Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
-Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
-Document student progress and maintain accurate records
-Attend virtual IEP meetings and collaborate with other professionals on the student's treatment team
Qualifications:
-Experience with a wide range of speech and language disorders
-Familiarity with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies in speech and language therapy
-Ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment for students
-Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to special education and students with disabilities
