Position Overview:
As a Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students, providing assessments, evaluations, and therapy services in a virtual setting. You will collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other members of the IEP team to develop and implement effective intervention plans tailored to each student's unique needs.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with teachers and other members of the IEP team to support student learning and achievement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Provide virtual consultations and support to parents and caregivers as needed.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid California licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Prior experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable using virtual platforms for service delivery.
