Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Virtual School Psychologist to join our team. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychological assessments, counseling services, and behavioral interventions to students in a virtual learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling services to students experiencing social, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement interventions and support plans for students with diverse needs.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on accommodations and strategies to support students with special needs.
- Serve as a resource to school staff and families on issues related to mental health, behavioral management, and crisis intervention.
Requirements:
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Illinois
- Proven experience conducting virtual assessments and providing counseling services in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel in a virtual environment.

- Liability insurance is required by the start of position.
