Job Description: ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified remote Speech Therapist (SLP) for the remainder of the school year (will renew for the following school year). This is a unique opportunity to provide speech and language services to students while collaborating with a dynamic team of educators and therapists.
Responsibilities:
- Full-Time
- 35-40 hours per week
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.
- Caseloads of 40 - 55 students
- Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans and goals.
- Provide speech therapy sessions to students, addressing articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to support students' speech and language development.
- Stay current with best practices and research in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Mexico.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote/virtual environment.
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations in special education.
