VocoVision is currently seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Certified School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who would be available on a full-time basis for 2024-2025 school year.
Position Overview: As a Certified School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), you will play an integral role in delivering high-quality speech and language services to students within educational settings. This position presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of students while collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' speech and language skills.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student goals.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and colleagues to support students' academic and social development.
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings, Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and other school-related activities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Illinois.
- Prior experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
