Travel Contract: School Speech-Language Pathologist, Yelm WA

Calling on Clinical Fellows and ASHA-Certified Speech-Language Pathologists seeking an opportunity to live and work in the Pacific Northwest! Soliant has partnered with a district in Yelm, WA and is seeking a contract SLP for upcoming school year.
How does one qualify as a traveler?
- Will you be arranging temporary housing during the school year?
- Will you be commuting 75+ miles to work?
If so, you qualify for housing and/or meals and incidentals stipends!
We are working with several openings, covering caseloads of elementary, middle and high school age groups. Additional information on site assignments will be discussed in a direct interview with District administrators.
As a schools-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:
- Evaluate new referrals on their communication abilities and determine student eligibility for speech services
- Develop Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, and make recommendations for speech services
- Re-evaluate students on a periodic basis, and updating IEP goals if needed
- Conduct meetings and complete reports as part of the referral or dismissal process for speech students
- Document services service logs, treatment notes, and track student progress with a mix of observations or testing data
We seek applicants with the following competencies:
- Excellent communication skills
- Good organization, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a manner consistent with department guidelines
- Flexibility and the ability to foster a collegial work environment
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
- SLP license from the Washington Board of Speech-Language Pathology
