- Do you have a primary resident 75+ miles from Lakeside, CA?
- Do you plan to work at this assignment for 11 months?
Requirements:
- Both ASHA-Certified candidates and Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Candidates must have either a California SLP license or a Speech and Language credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing
- Prior schools experience strongly preferred
- Weekly, take-home pay of $1600 to $1800 (assuming single tax filer status)
- Health, vision and dental insurance
- Paid sick leave, accrued at the rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked

- Conduct both informal and standardized assessments to determine students' level of speech therapy needs
- Updating progress reports to ensure that students are moving towards their IEP goals
- Write reports based on evaluation results, in accordance with state and federal mandates
- Develop IEP goals in collaboration with District staff and families
- Present evaluation reports and IEP goals at meetings
- In some cases, SLPs may be called upon to supervise Clinical Fellows, student interns (at both the graduate and undergraduate level), and SLPAs
- Excellent communication skills
