Title: School-Based Speech Therapist
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech Therapist to join our team and work in school settings to support students with communication disorders and speech challenges. This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and collaborate with teachers and parents to help students reach their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and screenings to identify students with speech and language disorders
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans and goals for students
- Providing direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication skills in the classroom
- Monitoring and documenting student progress and communicating with stakeholders about students' goals and achievements
- Participating in IEP meetings and providing input on students' speech and language needs
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech Therapist
- Experience working with school-aged children in a speech therapy capacity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and adapt to the needs of diverse student populations
