Position: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
Location: Neah Bay, WA – School-based, itinerant support
Schedule: Mon–Fri | Full-time (37.5 hours) | Part-time flexible
Hourly Rate: Starting at $40
School Year: Sept 2, 2025 – June 12, 2026
Summary:
We’re hiring an SLPA to support school-aged children in the Neah Bay area. If you value cultural richness, scenic beauty, and a tight-knit educational community, this role may be a perfect fit.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement student-specific therapy programs as directed by the supervising SLP

Assist with assessments and progress monitoring

Prepare materials, maintain documentation, and support IEP processes

Collaborate with school staff and families to ensure student success

Transport students to and from therapy areas as needed
What You Need to Qualify:
-
Valid SLPA license in Washington State
-
Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences or Communication Disorders
-
Experience in school settings or working with children preferred
-
Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a willingness to learn
-
Familiarity with articulation and/or language therapy techniques is a plus
