An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy services in a dynamic hospital setting. This role offers a balanced caseload with a 50/50 split between adult and pediatric patients, supporting diverse clinical experiences. The position is contract-based and located in Paris, KY, with a start date of November 3, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver one-on-one speech therapy interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
- Work across multiple departments, including outpatient and acute care settings, with the flexibility to float between areas as required.
- Participate in patient assessments and contribute to treatment planning.
- Utilize Modified Barium Swallow Study experience when applicable to enhance patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and standards.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- 2-3 years of speech language pathology experience preferred, though first-timers are welcome to apply.
- Kentucky licensure is required; candidates with a license pending may also be considered.
- Experience or willingness to perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies is a plus.
- Ability to work a consistent daytime schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM).
- No weekend or on-call responsibilities.
- Flexibility to accommodate a block schedule if requested.
