A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) providing services within a K-12 school setting in San Francisco, CA. This position offers the chance to work directly with a diverse student population ranging in age from 5 to 21 years old.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering individualized speech-language therapy to a caseload of approximately 55 students
- Utilizing clinical expertise to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders
- Collaborating with educators and support staff to implement effective therapy plans
- Adhering to district and state guidelines for service delivery and documentation
- Participating in ongoing professional development and team meetings
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential with ASHA CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
- Experience in school-based settings, ideally K-12 education
- Skilled in pediatric speech-language therapy and intervention techniques
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Familiarity with healthcare and pediatric therapy practices advantageous
This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible with an end date of June 5, 2026. The role requires on-site presence with no teletherapy option, and applicants must be licensed SLPs; unfortunately, applications from assistants (SLPAs) will not be considered.
