Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist - Portland, ME
Located in Portland, ME, this contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide skilled speech-language therapy services within an elementary school setting. The assignment runs through June 12 or the end of the school year, with two workdays per week to be determined. Work hours are from 7:45 AM to 2:45 PM on-site, as virtual work is not available.
The caseload consists of 10 to 15 students across grades 1, 3, and 5, enabling focused support and progress tracking. Responsibilities include delivering individualized speech-language therapy, participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, collecting and analyzing data, writing therapy goals, and potentially conducting evaluations. This role provides the chance to directly impact students' communication development in a dynamic educational environment.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)
- Experience in pediatric therapy, preferably within school settings
