Pediatric Skilled Nursing Facility Speech Pathologist in Half Moon Bay, CA
A skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized therapy services within a K-12 school setting located in Half Moon Bay, CA. This contract position, starting ASAP and continuing through June 5, 2026, offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. The role requires working closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 55 students, ranging in age from 5 to 21 years old, delivering targeted speech-language support to enhance their communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled speech-language therapy to students with various communication needs, following individualized education plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create and implement effective therapy programs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and assessments.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to support student development.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards for school-based therapy services.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with pediatric experience.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of school-based therapy practices and ability to manage a significant caseload.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills within an educational multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to working onsite, as teletherapy is not an option.
- Availability for full-time hours during the school year contract period.
