A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Citrus Heights, CA, for the current school year on a contract basis. Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled speech-language therapy services to students from Kindergarten through middle school, supporting communication development and addressing individual speech and language needs.
- Manage a caseload of 7 active students and conduct 1 monthly consultation to collaborate on student progress and treatment strategies.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
- Participate in relevant meetings and maintain detailed documentation to ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in school settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of therapy techniques for childhood communication disorders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and other professionals.
This position requires approximately 6 hours per week, starting as soon as possible, with the contract ending on May 22, 2026. The caseload includes students in grades K-3 (3 students), grades 4-5 (3 students), and one middle school student, providing a diverse range of therapy experiences.
