Compensation:
Pay range: $60.00 – $75.00/hour (depending on experience and credentials).
Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech-language services to students (preschool–K-12) in a school setting.

Conduct assessments, write reports, collaborate on IEPs/504s.

Work with teachers, special educators, and support staff.
-
Implement treatment plans, monitor progress, consult with classroom teams.

Participate in school-based meetings, documentation, and maintain compliance with state/school requirements.
Requirements:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders.

Must hold or be eligible for California credential/license to work as an SLP in a school setting.

In California, public-school SLPs typically must have a valid Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) for Language, Speech & Hearing.

And/or a California SLP license issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board (SLPAHADB).

School-based experience preferred (though new grads who meet credential/licensing may apply).

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Willingness to work within a school team, adapt to school schedules, and engage with diverse learners.
State-specific note (California):

California SLPs in public schools often must hold a Speech-Language Pathology Services Credential (Preliminary/ Clear) from the CTC.

A California SLP license is required for non-school settings, though many districts will prefer or require both license and credential.
