Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech therapy services primarily in inpatient rehab with some float coverage to acute care units.
- Utilize Epic for accurate and timely patient charting.
- Adapt to changing patient needs and efficiently manage a diverse caseload.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies including wearing assigned scrub colors (navy blue).
- Comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements or participate in weekly testing if eligible for medical/religious exemption.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Kentucky State License for Speech Language Pathology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system.
- Ability to manage change effectively and demonstrate resilience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
