Speech Therapy | Palm Desert, California
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide pediatric outpatient speech therapy services. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language evaluations in compliance with the Speech Therapy Practice Act and hospital standards
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to age-specific, cultural, and rehabilitative needs
- Delivering effective therapy treatments that facilitate patient communication and cognitive improvements
- Delegating treatment procedures when appropriate, ensuring patient safety and quality care
- Maintaining accurate and timely patient records
- Participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes
- Adhering to compliance policies and ethical standards, reporting any concerns or violations promptly
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) and current state licensure
- Experience in pediatric outpatient speech therapy
- Knowledge of hospital regulations and accreditation standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a clinical team environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
