Speech & Language Pathology - Vacaville, CA
Provide specialized speech-language pathology services in a pediatric outpatient setting, supporting children’s communication development and fostering their overall well-being. This contract opportunity is based in Vacaville, CA, offering a structured Monday through Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech, language, and swallowing disorders in pediatric patients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs and goals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, families, and educators to provide holistic care.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with best practices in pediatric speech therapy.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in California.
- Experience working with pediatric patients in an outpatient setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
