Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient communication and swallowing.
  • Implement techniques to enhance patients’ ability to understand and be understood by others.
  • Lead and oversee the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services within the facility.
  • Ensure all documentation and care practices comply with regulatory standards and facility policies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients’ rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid and unrestricted license in Speech-Language Pathology for the state.
  • Meet all educational requirements as outlined by licensure standards.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations and long-term care laws, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred.
