Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Rohnert Park, CA
An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized therapy services in a hospital setting. This contract position requires someone skilled in diagnostic assessment and therapy intervention tailored to patient needs within a post-acute care environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and carryover activities.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid SLP license.
- Experience in acute hospital or post-acute care settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of speech and swallowing therapy protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
